AI readiness

Agent-Ready Web Layer

Okhten Group builds websites that are structured for people, search engines, and AI assistants. Each site can include canonical URL guidance, structured data, llms.txt, AI-readable summaries, accessible forms, and safe agent interaction rules.

Safe agent rules (prepare, don't send)
Business as an entity an AI assistant can read: services, locations, trust, and contact data feeding Google, Maps, and AI search

What it is

One website, readable by people and machines.

Most sites are built only for human eyes. An agent-ready site stays clean for people, but also exposes the same facts in a structured way that search engines and AI assistants can parse, trust, and cite.

  • Canonical URLs so every page has one clear address
  • Structured data (schema.org) describing the business, services, and FAQs
  • An llms.txt index and AI-readable Markdown summaries of each topic
  • A machine-readable ai.json with company, services, and contact facts
  • Accessible, labeled forms an assistant can understand and pre-fill
  • A published agent policy: what automated agents may and may not do

What's included

The deliverables in an Agent-Ready Web Layer.

  • /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt site guides for language models
  • /ai.json structured company, services, pricing, and contact data
  • /ai/*.md summaries: company, services, process, pricing, case studies, contact
  • Schema.org graph: Organization, ProfessionalService, Service, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Person
  • Robots and crawl guidance that welcomes well-behaved AI crawlers
  • An agent-policy document defining safe, read-and-prepare-only interaction

Safe by design

Agents can prepare an inquiry — never act on your behalf.

The layer is read-only for automated agents. They can summarize the business, recommend the right service, and prepare a project inquiry. They cannot submit forms, send email, book calls, create CRM leads, or take payment — a human always confirms.

  • Allowed: summarize, recommend a service, prepare an inquiry draft
  • Not allowed: submit forms, send email, book calls, charge payment
  • Every real action stays behind explicit human confirmation

Who it's for

Businesses that want to be understood by modern discovery.

  • Service businesses that already rank but read poorly to AI assistants
  • Brands investing in long-term local and AI search visibility
  • Sites being rebuilt or redesigned — the cheapest time to add the layer
  • Anyone who wants a clear, citable entity instead of a vague web presence

FAQ

Agent-ready web layer questions

Clear answers about how we work, what we build, and what to expect.

  • Is this just SEO with a new name?

No. Classic SEO helps you rank in search results. The agent-ready layer goes further: it exposes structured, machine-readable facts (schema.org, llms.txt, ai.json, Markdown summaries) so AI assistants can understand and cite your business — not just index it. It builds on good SEO, it doesn't replace it.

  • Will this make AI tools recommend my business?

It removes the reasons they skip a business — unclear services, inconsistent facts, no structure. We can't and won't guarantee placement in any AI answer; no one honestly can. We build the structure that makes you possible to understand and cite.

  • Can an AI agent submit my contact form or book a call?

Not through this layer. It is intentionally read-and-prepare-only: an agent can draft an inquiry, but a human always confirms before anything is sent, booked, or paid. The rules are published in a public agent-policy document.

  • Can you add this to a website you didn't build?

Often yes. We review the existing site first, then add canonical structure, schema, llms.txt, ai.json, and summaries where the platform allows. It's most cost-effective during a redesign, but it can be retrofitted.
